Basic troubleshooting steps to help resolve issues with the Kids A-Z mobile app

Updated this week

The Kids A-Z app gives students access to Learning A-Z resources on the go. The app itself is free to download. However, it does require the teacher or caregiver to have an active license and registered login to Raz-Plus, Raz-Kids, Foundations A-Z, Science A-Z, or Vocabulary A-Z to use.

Most difficulties with the Kids A-Z app can be resolved by reinstalling the app and/or updating your device's operating system.

To uninstall:
iPad: Tap and hold the app icon until it wiggles, then click the x to remove.
Android: Select the Kids A-Z app from within the Application Settings and click Uninstall.
Kindle: Tap and hold the app icon until the menu comes up, then click Remove from Device.

To reinstall:
Visit the appropriate app store and download the app again.

To keep up with new technology, the following operating systems are required for the Kids A-Z app:

  • Apple iOS 12 or higher

  • Android 5.0 or higher

  • Kindle OS 5 or higher

Instructions for updating the operating system vary depending on your device, so if you aren't sure how to do so, please contact your device's manufacturer.

Additionally, we recommend 91MB free storage and 1GB RAM for the app to run optimally. This is the same for iOS, Android and Kindle.

If you continue to experience difficulties after updating your operating system and the Kids A-Z app, please contact us.
