Collaborative Use Limitations

Vocabulary A-Z is designed for individualized learning, and games do not currently support simultaneous use by multiple users. To collaborate using Vocabulary A-Z games, educators can:

  • Create a mock student account to access the game as a teacher.

  • Share their screen with the student during guided sessions, discussing the content in real-time. This workaround facilitates guided instructional sessions while leveraging the interactive game features.

Previewing Vocabulary Games

To preview games and understand what students will experience, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Vocabulary A-Z account.

  2. Go to the Instructional Tools section.

  3. Select Preview Interactivities, found at the bottom of the page. This feature allows teachers to familiarize themselves with game content and adapt their lesson plans efficiently.

Note: A license to Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z, Raz-Plus w/ELL Edition, or Science A-Z is required to use the corresponding premade lessons. Words in Vocabulary A-Z may differ slightly from the Reading A-Z or Science A-Z glossaries as they are only available in singular, present-tense form.
