How to Share In Students Using Shared Rostering

This guide covers how to search, add, and manage shared students on a multi-user managed account.

Updated yesterday

If you're part of a multi-user managed account with Shared Rostering enabled, you can add students from another teacher’s class to your own. This allows you to assign resources and view reports for shared students, while the homeroom teacher retains control over their login details.

✏️ Step-by-Step: Share In Students

  1. Log In

    • Go to Kids A-Z.

    • Click Teacher and enter your username and password.

  2. Open the Class Roster

    • Click My Classroom.

    • Select Class Roster.

  3. Go to the Share In Students Tab

    • Click the Share In Students tab at the top of the roster page.

  4. Choose the Organization

    • Select the school or organization of the homeroom teacher.

    • Or choose All schools in district to search across all schools.

  5. Search for Students
