The system will react in the following ways if Reading power Zone materials are missing, either because they were refined out, or accidentally missing from the system
Individual Resources Refined
Node 1 (Book Nook aka Optional 4 of 5 books)
If one or more books is missing the student is now required to read all available books to mark this node complete (even if it is only one book)
If all five are refined out the Book Nook icon will be hidden and students will move to the next node.
Example when one book has been refined out from the Book Nook.
When all books have been read…
Node 2 (Key Book aka Required Quiz Book)
If the required book is refined out the Key Book icon will be hidden and students will move to the next node.
If all materials from Node 1 and 2 are refined out, the subgroup will be hidden entirely and the student will be served the next subgroup
Supporting content
If supporting content, such as a Quiz or a Listen are missing or unavailable, the requirement to complete them will be removed.
All Resources Refined
If all resources are refined out (for instance via all English refinement), the Reading Power Zone icon will be hidden from the students
