Understanding Teacher Licenses, Classrooms, and Shared Rostering

Updated over 2 months ago

We want to make sure every teacher and classroom is set up for success! Here’s how our licensing works:

One Classroom, One License

  • If a teacher supports only 1 classroom with up to 36 students, one license under the teacher’s username will cover that classroom.

  • No need to set up a classroom. Student-facing resources will be available in Kids A-Z site under the teacher’s username.

More Than One Classroom or More Than 36 Students

  • If a teacher supports multiple classrooms or has more than 36 students, additional licenses are required.

  • Each license covers up to 36 students.

  • Teachers can set up multiple classrooms under the same username, up to 7 classrooms total.

Shared Rostering

Shared Rostering allows teachers under a multi-license account, who have at least one product in common, to share important student information across classrooms. This makes collaboration easy when students work with multiple teachers.
