Print Out Does Not Match File
Print Out Does Not Match File
Updated over a year ago

If you notice after printing a file that some of the images are offset, a frame is offsetting the image, text is out of place, or images are black, an error likely occurred when file was sent to the printer or the printer driver is too old to translate it properly. To resolve this, either download the file directly to your desktop, print the file as an image, or update your printer driver.

To download the file differently:

  1. Right-click the PDF link.

  2. Select Save Target As or Save Link As from the menu.

  3. Choose where to save the file on your computer.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Launch Adobe Reader.

  6. Choose File > Open from within Acrobat.

  7. Navigate to and open the saved file.

  8. Choose File > Print.

To save the file as an image before printing:

  • Choose Advanced from the top of the Print menu.

  • Check the Print As Image check box.

To update your printer driver, please visit the website for your printer manufacturer.
