After using the Placement Assessment, set your student's episode from the Classroom Roster or Assignments page.
Log in to Headsprout.
Choose either Roster or Assignments from the Manage Students menu.
Click the Headsprout tab.
Click on the drop down menu for the appropriate student.
Select the desired episode.
After completing an episode, the student will automatically progress to the next sequential episode. If needed, you can adjust the episode at any time.
From the Roster page, you can also enable Sprout Stories for your students. Sprout Stories offer additional reading practice that students unlock starting with the completion of Early Reading Episode 5. Students will find the Sprout Stories within the Book Room, which the teacher can control access to from the Roster page:
Log in to Headsprout.
Choose Roster from the Manage Students menu.
Click the Headsprout tab.
Check or uncheck the Sprout Stories box for each student or for the whole class.
Once activated by the teacher, a student can access the Reading Room from either a computer or mobile device.
