Purchasing a License

​Parent

Parents interested in using Learning A-Z resources with their family need to purchase a license. For licensing purposes, they are considered equivalent to one classroom.

Homeschool Family

Homeschool families using Learning A-Z resources must purchase a license. Each family is considered one classroom.

​Principal/School Admin/Department Director

  • Eligible Purchasers:

    • Principals, School Administrators, Department Directors or Purchasing can purchase licenses for classroom teachers.

  • Single-Educator License:

    • Must be registered in the name of the specific classroom teacher.

    • Contact information for the specific classroom teacher is required.

  • Multiple-Educator License:

    • The main contact can be the purchaser.

    • Each account must be registered in the name of the specific classroom teacher.

    • Contact information for each specific classroom teacher is required.

Educator

License Purchase Guidelines for Educators

  • Single License:

    • Educators with 36 students or fewer can purchase one license.

  • Multiple Licenses:

    • Educators with more than 36 students must purchase a license for each set of 36 students.

​Classroom Helper

  1. Licensing Requirement: Each classroom must purchase a license to use copyrighted resources as part of the curriculum.

  2. Resource Access: Once licensed, classroom helpers (co-teachers, parent aides, teacher's aides) serving students in the licensed classroom may use the teacher's login credentials to download resources.

  3. Team Teaching: For team teaching scenarios, please provide us with the following information to ensure your account is updated and notated accordingly. This ensures all educators involved can receive the appropriate support.

    • The username on the account the helper will be accessing.

    • First and Last Name of the helper.

    • Email Address for the helper.

    • How do they intend to use the resources with the homeroom teacher?

    • Do they have their own set of students that will be added to the roster?

Reading Coach/Specialist

License Purchase Guidelines for Coaches/Specialists

  • Separate Licenses:

    • Each coach/specialist must purchase a separate license for each set of 36 students.

  • Resource Usage:

    • Resources are for use by the coach/specialist only.

    • If resources are sent back to the classroom for regular educators to continue instruction, each regular educator must purchase a separate license.

Special Education

Each special education educator must purchase a separate license for each set of 36 students. Resources are for use by the special education teacher only. If resources are sent back to the classroom for regular educators to continue instruction, each regular educator must purchase a separate license.

Resource Room

School Librarian

Each classroom sending students to, or obtaining Learning A-Z materials from, the library, must have a separate license registered in the name of, and with the contact information for, the specific classroom teacher.

Computer Lab

  • Computer Lab Technician: If the technician is the only educator using Learning A-Z resources with students, they need a license for every 36 students.

  • Classroom Teacher: If students use Learning A-Z materials in the computer lab but the regular classroom teacher is still the main educator, each teacher needs their own license. This license must be registered with the teacher's name and contact information.

Private Organization/Tutor Lab/Public Library

  • Computer Lab Technician: If the technician is the only educator using Learning A-Z resources with students, they need a license for every 36 students.

  • Classroom Teacher: If students use Learning A-Z materials in the computer lab but the regular classroom teacher is still the main educator, each teacher needs their own license. This license must be registered with the teacher's name and contact information.
