Teachers now have more control over Reading Practice Zone (RPZ) assignments in Raz-Plus. When you manually assign a student to an RPZ, that assignment stays in place even if a student's Reading Growth Assessment (RGA) score would normally change their RPZ placement.
This update ensures that teacher-directed RPZ assignments remain in place until you decide to remove them.
What does this mean for teachers?
When you manually assign a student to an RPZ:
The student will retain access to the assigned Reading Practice Zone (RPZ).
The assignment will remain in place until you manually remove it.
This gives you the flexibility to use RPZ as part of an individualized reading plan or other instructional strategy based on your knowledge of the student's needs.
