Why We Added This Content/Resource:
Learning A-Z embraces the burgeoning research around Metacognition, as the community increasingly accepts the data showing that students thrive when they learn to help themselves become better readers. This occurs when they think about their reading before, during, and after reading. With Tips and Strategies for five key areas of Metacognition, we help teachers see how they can immediately work on this with their students by modeling metacognitive thinking every time they engage with texts.

How to Access:
To access these resources, visit the Metacognition page on the Raz-Plus and Reading A-Z homepage or in the Literacy Domain section of the Resource Menu.
