Find Resources: New Homepage & Menu Section

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What’s New:
The homepage section previously labeled “Find Books By” is now “Find Resources By”. Resources are now grouped into five new literacy domains:

  • Comprehension: Informational Texts

  • Comprehension: Literature

  • Foundational Skills & Fluency (Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Alphabetics, Handwriting, Fluency)

  • Language & Vocabulary

  • Metacognition

This section is also accessible via the Resource Menu under Raz-Plus (or Reading A-Z) → Literacy Domains.

Why It Matters:
This update aligns with the Science of Reading and helps teachers quickly find the right resources for specific instructional goals.

In addition to the above changes, the "Find More Resources" section has been streamlined.

What’s New:
The following collections were removed:

  • Paired Books

  • Nonfiction Series

  • Close Read Passages

  • Argumentation Skill Packs

Replaced with:

  • Books by Grade/Level

  • Books by Topic

  • Core Program Correlations

  • Graphic Organizers

Why It Matters:
These changes reflect a shift toward Science of Reading-aligned labels and easier navigation.
