Grammar Packs
Updated this week

Writing A-Z is more than just a writing curriculum. It also addresses grammar skills using instructional videos and game-based practice to support the application of English language conventions in writing.

What Are Grammar Packs?

Grammar is taught in Writing A-Z using a collection of Grammar Packs that combine instructional videos and practice games that students watch and play independently.

  • Grammar Packs are automatically assigned to students when they are rostered.

  • Students level up through each Grammar Pack. Once the pack is complete, the next pack is assigned automatically.

Browse individual Grammar Packs for any grade level in Find By Collections to supplement instruction, build basic grammar background, and develop language standards applied while writing.

Why Grammar Packs Matter

  • Authentic Learning: Grammar isn’t abstract; it’s woven into the fabric of communication. Grammar Packs bridge theory and practice, making grammar relevant and memorable.

  • Transferable Skills: Students apply grammar rules directly to their writing.

  • Award-Winning Solution: Writing A-Z has garnered accolades, including the 2023 SIIA CODiE Award for Best English Language Arts Instructional Solution and the 2024 SIIA CODiE Award for Best Virtual Learning Solution.
