The Writing A-Z Process Writing Workshop guides students with step-by-step instructions to create compositions for different text types. Each step has level appropriate resources such as graphic organizers and revision checklists. Helpful, engaging characters review each step in detailed videos if students need additional support with each text type. To access the Process Writing Workshop, log in as a student to Writing A-Z and click the Writing option. Then, click on Process Writing Workshop. If you have a process writing in progress, select the name of the writing. Otherwise, click New or Begin. When completing a Process Writing Workshop, make sure to fill out all of the information, and review the checklists for each step. When the teacher has enabled the On Your Own Writing tools, students can initiate compositions with the complexity determined by the Writing Level set in the Roster. You can save up to three drafts for each interactive tool.
