Print Out Does Not Match File

Last Updated: Apr 18, 2016 11:03AM MST
If you notice after printing a file that some of the images are offset, a frame is offsetting the image, text is out of place, or images are black, an err likely occurred when file was sent to the printer or the printer driver is too old to translate it properly. To resolve this, either download the file directly to your desktop, print the file as an image, or update your printer driver.

To download the file differently:

  1. Right-click the link to the PDF
  2. Select "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" from the menu
  3. Choose where to save the file on your computer
  4. Click Save
  5. Launch Adobe Reader
  6. Choose File>Open from within Acrobat
  7. Navigate to and open the saved file
  8. Choose File>Print

To save the file as an image before printing:

  1. Choose Advanced from the top of the Print menu
  2. Check the Print As Image check box

Or to update your printer driver, please visit the website for your printer manufacturer.
